Zenith Bank Allegedly Denies Governor Fayose over Sponsorship of Election Campaign

The leadership of the Zenith Bank Plc has unofficially responded to the claims that People's Democratic Party chieftain, Ayodele Fayose's gubernatorial election in 2014 was bankrolled by the commercial bank.

Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose whose personal bank accounts with Zenith Bank Plc were restricted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has been entangled in yet another drama with the commercial bank.
 
Fayose in a lengthy official statement revealed how his campaign was heavily funded by Zenith bank through loans, but Sahara Reporters in a swift response yesterday contacted a source in the bank and it was reportedly revealed that Fayose was attempting to use the bank to cover up some slush funds he received from the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki and Musiliu Obanikoro who has been alleged to be on exile.

Zenith Bank has reportedly dared Governor Fayose to publish his bank statements for all his 3 accounts at the bank so the public could see them and stop the charade of dragging them into his dirty politics as revealed on the Twitter page of the online news platform as seen below:
