The wife of Sani Abacha, Nigeria's former Head of State, Maryam Abacha, has been spotted making a rare public appearance recently.
Maryam Abacha, now a 69-year-old woman whose height and glow belies her true age, was pictured at a wedding last Saturday in Abuja.
The former First Lady is not known to make many public appearances, and this is quite a rare sighting.
